| This group shot in front of Don Temple's Cessna 421 "Ultimate Trip" was taken the day before departure on July 3, 1992. The early morning fog was not much Different than 68 years earlier when 4 Douglas World Cruisers left this same airport in early 1924, two made it the whole way and one of them, the New Orleans, is at the Santa Monica Museum of Flying. |
